  • Aluminum Rollers

    Q:

Do you have a resistance/power curve available for the rollers at each setting level using the magnetic resistance unit?

      A:

No, power data is not easy to determine on rollers since you need to factor in the weight of each rider/bike, unlike a rear wheel trainer where it's suspended and a precise amount of tension put against the rear wheel.

I suppose you could look at adding more magnets but we do not offer any resistance upgrades for the rollers.

  • Aluminum Rollers

    Q:

How do you engage the different levels of resistance while riding?
Asked on 11/13/2016 by Kimpossible from Virginia

      A:

By varying the speed. Rollers will often supplement a trainer where you would use the roller for more lower resistance/cadence/balance drills and a rear wheel trainer for structured workouts and much higher resistance abilities. You could also add the resistance bar to a set of standard CycleOps rollers.
