  • JetFluid Pro Trainer

    Q:

I'm having problems with my wheel slipping. I'm wondering if there is an adjustment that will fix this problem. I'm using a typical road bike on the trainer

You should have a clutch knob on that trainer, so tightening it until it clicks would be the proper tension. If you have an older style with yellow lever be sure that you are locking it in the up position and not down. You can get further help from our customer service at custsrv@saris.com

Yes, as long as your 29'' tires are not huge. We say that the trainer should fit up to 2.25'' tires.

    Q:

I understand that the jet Fluid Pro has multiple settings for the specific type of training you would like to do i.e. warm up, flat, hills, etc. however I have yet to see any instructions on how to change the mode of the trainer. How do you put the trainer into the aforementioned settings?

    thank you.

      A:

That's the SuperMagneto that has those settings not the Jetfluid. Your trainer is already progressive, the faster you have your rear wheel moving the more resistance you will get so all you need to do is shift gears to be able to control it.

The one that it comes with is for road bikes and the other is for 29er MTN bikes to give the tire more clearance.

    Q:

I have the JetFluid Pro Trainer and am trying to connect it to my PC for Virtual Training. When I launch the app on the PC, it is not recognizing the trainer. I have the ANT USB mini stick in my PC.

    How do I connect this?

    Thanks,
    Vijay

      Vijay,
The JetFluid Pro trainer is not part of the CycleOps Smart Trainer lineup, so it won't connect directly with the software. You'll need to use a speed or power sensor on the bicycle itself. Check out the compatibility table on the CycleOps website (https://www.cycleops.com/virtualtraining/compatibility) for more info.
