Hillary has raced over 50 Ironman events. She also took second at the Ultraman World Championships in 2010 and holds the women's swim course record. In 2008, she won her first Ironman in Wisconsin.

t the moment, the power workouts I am loving to hate are some gnarly 30-second and 1-minute intervals—just discovering how much these short suckers can hurt!

Generally pretending that I’m not racing

Winning Ironman Wisconsin in 2008

What was your favorite cartoon growing up?
I was far too serious a child for cartoons.
What memories do you have of learning to ride a bike?
Yep I basically had to re-learn how to ride a bike to get around campus in college. Just the sight of me on a bike sent my friends into hysterics; they still cannot believe that I now make a living doing this!

Ms. Eva, our chihuahua mix rescue puppy
What is something you always have in your refrigerator?
Unsweetened vanilla almond milk.

Does natural peanut butter count as a condiment?!
What is your favorite way to spend a rainy day?
Running in the rain!
