Discipline: Triathalon, Raod, MTB, Xterra

Training Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Team Info

The team started in 2008 when I kicked off my coaching business.  It was born out of a need in the area and a desire by some of the local triathlon club members to get a little more serious about getting better.  The home base is in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with a large portion of the team in Lafayette, about 50 miles west.  We do have team members in New Orleans, Shreveport, Houston and Tyler, Texas as well.

Our Mission is simple.  4D Racing is about improvement.  Using sound scientific and physiological principles we aim to go faster.  Regardless of your ability the goal of training is to improve and our mission is to help athletes of all levels do that.

Using scientific principles and by training and racing with power we have all gotten stronger and faster on the bike and have learned to use the CycleOps technology to pace the bike portion of triathlon to some really fast runs.  4D has athletes that are very new to the sport of triathlon as well as Kona qualifiers.  We fully believe in the "Science of Performance".

The team is comprised of all levels of athletes and both men and women. We currently have 50 active racing members on the team, 40 men and 10 women. Most of these guys and all of the gals are triathletes but many race in other disciplines: cycling, mountain bike racing, Xterra, as well as open running events.

Sean Schnur is our fastest triathlete / runner. Sean races across several disciplines but specializes in long course triathlon, he finished 99th in Kona last year at the Ironman World Championship.

John Fell was our most recent Kona Qualifier, over coming 2 flats while using his Joule 2.0 to race back into 3rd in his age group at Ironman Texas and a chance to race in the Ironman World Championship.

Chad Soileau lost over 200 pounds and finished Ironman Coeur D'Alene just before midnight last summer reaching his last fitness goal that he wrote down when he decided to change his life for the better after hitting a high point of 464 lbs.

Brian LeJeune is one of our most active racers going back and forth all year from cycling to mountain biking, to Xterra and triathlon.

Brian Primeaux is our youngest member, he is going into his senior year of high school but looking to make a name for himself at USAT junior elite camp this summer and has been over all winner at a couple of local triathlons already this season.

On the ladies side, Anne Sagrera has been getting really fast and winning some local sprint races. Jeanie Theriot has also been getting a lot stronger shaving big chunks of time off her bike splits using Power Tap as her guide.
