Elite Team youngest member 27, oldest 38 (11 years)
AG Team youngest member 17, oldest 69 (52 years)

Are there any notable team alumni?.

National AG Xterra Champ (20-24) Mathieu Signoretty and Professional Triathlete and former USA National Duathlon Champion Matthew Sheeks.

How long has the team been around?

The Elite Team was formed in 2009 by high performance coach and Vo2Multisport owner Ben Bigglestone to provide coaching and product support to athletes displaying a passion for triathlon and who displayed a level of talent capable of winning their AG at National and International competition.

The Elite Team also support and help our much bigger AG team of about 90 members and always the first to go into detail about the benefits of training and racing with power and how it has helped then achieve their goals.

On our team we have Ironman AG World Champion Sheila Croft whose goal for 2012 is to become the overall amateur world champion. She recently finished 13th Overall Female at the Boston Marathon!

At our first big weekend of racing March 31st Elite Team athletes Laura Coombs and Megan Monroy placed 1st and 3rd at Ironman 70.3 California in the 25-29 AG and Kara Nielsen took the overall amateur female title at The Lifetime Fitness Leadman Triathlon in Las Vegas

Neo pro Eddie Switaj (former collegiate swimmer) will have his first professional start at the infamous Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon on June 10th

How does CycleOps help you achieve your goals?

All of the Elite Team athletes train and race with Cycleops Powermeters. It provides an objective measure of training stress and allows the coach and athlete to formulate race strategies to match course length and difficulty

What does being a CycleOps athlete mean to you?

Having the support of Cycleops is invaluable as it gives team members affordable access to the best power meter technology out there. To be associated with a brand that is at the leading edge of training and racing with power gives us all a tremendous amount of confidence and that reflects in our training and racing.

What are your most important power training metrics?

Evaluation of fitness and progress using watts/kg to better facilitate athlete to athlete comparisons. Functional threshold power assessed by a T30 is something all team members become intimately acquainted with despite at times some objection ;).
